About Us

A structured, non-secure residential program for female youth.

Ember Haven Youth Services is preparing to serve youth placed through state-approved agencies, including the Kentucky Department for Community Based Services. The program is being built to provide a safe, stable, and home-like living environment designed to support personal growth, accountability, and independence.

Our Mission

Helping youth build responsibility in a community-based setting.

The program is designed for youth who can function within a community-based residential setting and do not require secure placement or intensive clinical intervention. Care will be built around consistency, routine, relationship-based support, and clear expectations.

Douglas Jacquet

Founder & Program Director

As the founder of Ember Haven Youth Services, my mission is to create a safe, structured, and supportive environment where young girls can feel secure and begin to grow. I currently work as a JCPS special needs bus driver, where I support and interact with youth daily, giving me firsthand experience in understanding their needs, behaviors, and challenges.

I am also pursuing my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, which continues to strengthen my ability to provide guidance, structure, and emotional support. My experience in the youth care field has shown me the importance of consistency, accountability, and genuine care.

Ember Haven was built on the belief that every child deserves a stable, home-like environment where they feel safe, respected, and encouraged to move forward toward a better future.
